Worked example: time released is not yet cash saved
This is a synthetic calculation scenario, not a client result. Assume 100 cases per week, 46 working weeks, 10 minutes per case now and 3 minutes of human review afterwards. That releases roughly 537 hours of capacity a year. At an entered hourly value of 40 euros, this represents 21,467 euros of capacity value.
For this scenario, enter 100 euros of software costs per month, 2 maintenance hours per month, 10 internal setup hours and 4,500 euros of external investment. With no change in rework and no separate audit fee, the calculator returns 14,407 euros of net process value in year one. These are scenario inputs, not a quote. If review takes 6 minutes instead of 3, the result falls to 5,207 euros. Change the fields above to explore your own situation.
Which figures do you need?
Count cases per week and active minutes per ordinary case. Measure rework separately. Time after implementation includes human review and remaining manual work. Label estimates as estimates: an unknown cost is not the same as zero. The tool cannot determine missing costs for you.
Released capacity only becomes financial savings when you demonstrably avoid costs or put that time to another use. Quality and risk are not given a monetary value. If uncertain, start with a process baseline. See AI implementation costs for the offer, inclusions and exclusions.
