The short answer
Tamboer AI builds AI workflows for small and medium businesses: work that comes back every week is prepared for you, so your company can handle more without hiring more. AI consultancy at Tamboer AI means working inside your own team for an agreed period, as a contractor. It suits organisations larger than a single SME process, where the question does not stop at one workflow. Price on request and dependent on the assignment. If you do want a bounded process instead, choose the fixed-price implementation.
What I do when I join you
This is for organisations that are larger than one SME process, and I do it as an independent contractor, for an agreed period. I work within the team that does the work. Not from a dashboard, but at the desk next to them. That is how I see which steps come back every day, where information is retyped, where files wait and where people work around a colleague because the system does not deliver. - Reviewing processes. For each process I record what the workflow may prepare, who approves and what the evidence is. The five controls I use everywhere: input, authority, approval, exception, evidence.
- Implementing improvements. I build and set up, in the tooling that has been approved at your organisation or that we choose together. An employee keeps the last word.
- Arranging approval. At one of the largest banks in the Netherlands I helped think through every step of the approval: compliance, risk, privacy and IT. I know which questions are coming and how to answer them before they halt a project.
- Bringing people along. Staff who know nothing about AI, I get working fully with AI in a short time. I have guided people from 0 to 100, by working alongside them instead of giving a presentation.
- Choosing what fits. Open or closed models, Claude Code, Codex, Copilot or what is already in your software suite: I help choose based on what the work needs, not on what is in the news.
Who this is for
Organisations with several teams and their own IT, privacy or compliance department. There, an AI improvement only works once it has been approved, once it connects to the systems already in place and once the people who do the work trust it. That takes someone who is there for a while, not an advisory report.
It does not fit if you are mainly looking for a strategy or a presentation, or if AI has to email, book or decide on its own. It does fit if you have a department where recurring work takes too much time from people who are too expensive for it, and you want someone who solves that together with them.
What an engagement looks like
| Phase | What happens | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Working alongside and measuring | I join the work and measure volume, time per case, lead time, errors and exceptions. | A baseline on your own numbers and a list of processes in order of value and risk. |
| Designing and getting approval | For each process the data flow, the permissions, the approval step and the evidence. Aligned with IT, privacy and compliance. | A design that passes approval, with the story for whoever has to sign it. |
| Building and working alongside | I build, test with real cases and work within the team until it runs. | Working workflows with an employee at the controls, and a final measurement next to the baseline. |
| Handing over | Documentation, training by working alongside, an owner per workflow and a stop and recovery procedure. | A team that carries it themselves. Asking questions stays free afterwards. |
Pricing is on request and depends on the project, role, scope and duration. You receive a concrete proposal in advance. I work directly with you or through your existing staffing partner, on site or remotely.
Where the experience comes from
I advise, build AI workflows and train your team to use them. The examples show how I bring sources, checks and human approval together.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference with an AI strategy adviser?
An adviser delivers a report and leaves. I work alongside you until the workflow runs and the team can carry it themselves. The advice is part of it, but it is not the product.
Does this work alongside our own IT or data team?
Yes. I build within the tooling and the rules you have approved, or I help get that approval. Ownership of the workflow stays with you.
For how long do you bring someone in?
That depends on the number of processes and on how quickly approval runs. I work with a start and end date and with a defined assignment, so nobody buys an open end. The price depends on the assignment and is agreed in your proposal.
Can we also start small?
Yes. A first conversation costs nothing, and reviewing one process can always be the first step before you agree a longer engagement.
